Roots is an exploration of JAZZ. Brass 5 will use the conversation of music to explore the beginnings of America's own music form, jazz. This program traces the History of jazz through negro spirituals, traditional jazz, Dixieland jazz, swing, bebop and rock and toll while performing examples of each style.
